Sara Riboldi

Expertise

Sara’s practice focuses on international law with an emphasis on Italian-Canadian legal matters. Sara is a dually qualified Canadian and Italian lawyer and a dual citizen of Canada and Italy. Sara has gained experience in commercial and corporate law, especially for transactions between Italy and Canada. Sara assists clients to set up companies in Italy and/or Canada, including not-for-profit and charitable organizations. Sara regularly advises clients on drafting commercial contracts and on protection of their intellectual property rights. Sara has gained extensive experience in law of successions for Canadian and Italian estate matters.

Sara regularly provides representations to Italian law firms and Italian notary offices to act as their Canadian counsel (or as a Notary Public for the Province of Ontario) for estate matters, international transactions, commercial litigation, letters rogatory, and advises Italian clients on Canadian substantive law. Sara assists Canadians on Italian estate matters, providing representation in Italy for estate applications, representation in court for civil law disputes (estate, commercial, real estate litigation) and assistance in Italian corporate matters.

Sara is an active member in the Toronto cultural community and her clients include Italian cultural foundations and institutions.
